Æolimetalia is an invented word. It comes from the greek term "Æolic" (what comes from the wind), metal, and the sufix "ia" which has been used to name some kingdoms in biological taxonomies.

Æolimetalia is a sound art installation based on feedback loop as a motor for the emergence of sonic texture. It consists of two (or more) hanging pieces of aluminum sheets that move when air and people passes near them. A distance sensor captures this movement and drives a vibration motor that moves the aluminum sheets, which feedbacks itself into the sensor.

This work is an effort to extract a sonic narrative as part of the complex nature of feedback that happens on the interaction of air molecules, people, space, and pressure (sound)​
