Notes
This piece shows a glimpse of my internal experience while coping with mental illnesses due to heavy isolation during the pandemic. At that time, I was exploring complex systems and emergence, concepts that helped me understand human nature and similar organic behaviors. As I started to take medication, I kept track of my responses to emotional distress and perceived my behavior as part of a complex system that interacts with its environment. The work shows the evolution of this behavior through time, imagined by sonic landscapes of shock, recursion of thoughts and several other metaphors of the human complexity. Finally, I found internal peace, 100 milligrams a day.
