Soma is a work based on a counterpoint of organic cellular life and technology. Both concepts are represented in musical terms and are juxtaposed in order to blend the boundaries between organic creatures and technological self-awareness. This process of interpolation is set in an aquatic and dark environment. This piece was inspired by Frictional Game’s 2015 title “SOMA”.
